Job Description:

Duties:

  • Support and execute special programs that build culture and drive our strategy forward. These may include team offsites, team onsites, and social events
  • Build impactful relationships across the full design team in Seattle
  • Serve as a dependable point of contact/link to DPMs and cross-functional teams in Menlo Park
  • Help raise the profile of product design internally and externally by working closely with Product Design managers and program owners to implement impactful events, speakers, education or activities
  • Proactively raise and resolve issues around our initiatives before they are a problem for individuals
  • Support product leads with effective team communication, proactive problem solving, information distribution
  • Measure impact of programs and initiatives both qualitatively and quantitatively
  • Track and move initiatives forward working with multiple stakeholders
  • Facilitate meetings such as preparing impactful agendas, establishing next steps and owners

Skills:

  • Minimum ~7yrs in project/program management
  • Experience working with designers and passion around creating strong design communities
  • 7+ years of experience as a producer, project manager or program manager with a background establishing programs, supporting teams, and developing relationships
  • Track record of operating independently, demonstrating creativity, being detail-oriented, and delivering results in a highly organized manner
  • Successful in fast-paced environment that requires independent time management, task prioritization, flexibility, and keen ability to identify problems and proactively work towards solutions
  • Committed and motivated to building a deep subject matter knowledge about design, what motivates designers and what makes them successful

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree
