Job Description:

Aquent is seeking an experienced UI Developer to join a growing tech team for 3+ months! The UI Developer will work on existing application, communicate with end users, provide expert suggestion and make changes accordingly. They will be focused on the UI interface of the application and fill in the usability gap. 

The position is located in Sunnyvale, CA and has a strict on-site requirement. 

Must be experienced in Web UI designing, designing user interface applications using Photoshop, Illustrator, In design, Sketch, InVision, AXURE, HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, AngularJS, WordPress. 

- Responsible for interactive and UI design guidance on Web Application.
- Analyze user interface problems and create design solutions that meet measurable business goals and requirements
- Quickly and thoroughly create design mock-ups as needed to effectively conceptualize and communicate detailed interaction behaviors
- Perform some of the UI implementation tasks
- Work closely with partner teams to drive rapid progress and iteration and align with overall site experience
- Candidate should have some web development experience
- Bring expertise specific to the UI/UX usability domains.
- Need to work on a functionally ready application on the usability issue

Required skills
3+ years of experience as a user interface designer, interaction designer or similar role designing web applications
3+ years of Web Development experience
- Must have strong knowledge of front-end technologies and frameworks like html, css, ajax, javascript, and JQuery

- Excellent communication, presentation, and storytelling skills
- Proven experience with rapid, iterative design and development processes
- Familiar with Linux platforms and system (Window/Mac)‘s framework structure to design

Preferred skills
- Experience in automated UI testing frameworks (Selenium, Silk Test, etc.).
- Experience monitoring and measuring UI experiences.
- Experience troubleshooting cross-browser compatibility issues
- Ability to ramp up quickly on new technologies and adopt solution from within the company or from the Open Source community.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in, at least, one modern programming language such as Python, or Java
