Job Description:

AQUENT is currently searching for a Traffic Coordinator/Manager for a valued client in Hartford, CT.

The successful candidate will support for Traffic Department in a fast-paced Creative Services department (structured like an ad agency). Responsible for assisting team with management of projects working collaboratively with in-house creative services team and company-wide marketing clients. 

DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: 
- Process requests, review creative briefs, schedule projects and traffic them to completion. 
-Ability to coordinate and facilitate multiple types of projects (print, electronic and interactive) 
-Act as a liaison between the Art Department and internal clients 
-Work with traffic management to monitor workflow 
-Assist with maintenance of project files within Traffic system for records retention 
-Facilitate non-supported business customers with inputting their project request and managing their project throughout the process. 
-Create reports tracking project statuses and department metrics 
-Other administrative support (ie. filing, reporting) 

QUALIFICATIONS: 
-1-3 years of experience in project management or traffic coordination 
-Expert organizational skills 
-Strong ability to multi-task 
-Outstanding communication skills – both written and verbal 
-Proofreading skills 
-Demonstrated ability to work as a team player 
-Ability to collaborate with team members from all levels/areas of the organization 
-Able to handle routine issues independently and know when to escalate as needed 
- Ability to adapt to new situations and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment 
-Strong knowledge of the creative process including project management, workflow and terminology 
-Ability to learn new software quickly 
-Excellent attention to detail 
-Strategic thinker with outstanding problem-solving skills 
-Strong sense of urgency and a can-do attitude 
-Intermediate-level proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, etc.) 
-Experience with Workamajig or equivalent traffic system a plus
