Do you live and breath pop culture and trends and beyond? Do you have a marketing background that you like to utilize as leverage to enhance and improve the online presence and brand awareness through social media networks, blogs and search engine optimizations? If you enjoy immersing yourself in the current social media networks to "boost" the current online traffic and brand exposure, keep reading! In this role, you will be responsible for monitoring emerging social media tools to see how you can incorporate them into our clients business, marketing and public relations strategies. You will use your creativity and marketing skills to generate brand awareness, sales and promote customer service through various social media networks. The ideal candidate will have knowledge of the latest and popular social media platforms, as well as study the tools and observe how often those platforms/tools are to be used. This role is located in the Chicago Suburbs, a car is required. 


  • Identify habits of online customers and think "outside the box" to suggest ways to reach a broader audience
  • Maintain a cohesive strategy across all platforms to increase brand awareness
  • Perform community conversation audits across the organization's owned social media channels to identify key themes, audience sentiment, share of voice, customer interactions, trend opportunities and content creation ideas 
  • Collaborate with eCommerce Web Analyst team to understand Omniture performance, linking strategy and tie back to social publishing efforts 
  • Utilize social listening to provide market analysis across competitors, influencers and fan conversations 
  • Develop insights and recommendations from social listening to help inform broader brand marketing strategy and direction 
  • Partner with internal teams to form brand voice and train cross-functional partners on engagement protocols and best practices 
  • Support ongoing social listening requests from various teams within the business (e.g. product development, partner marketing, sales) 
  • Maintain technology partnerships and consistently evaluate vendor landscape to ensure best in class partners for social listening and research  
  • Establish system of real time conversation monitoring to support relevant content opportunities 
  • Ability and experience linking data and insights with larger business and organizations objectives/priorities 


  • Bachelor Degree in public relations, marketing, social media management or business communications preferred
  • 2+ years of social community management/analytics experience 
  • 1+ years of experience with data analysis and reporting working in a marketing department or agency setting
  • Proven strong analytical and detail oriented skills required 
  • Social media listening platform power user
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
