Job Description:

Seeking an experienced User Interface Designer for a global financial industry client, within its Cybersecurity & Technology Controls Product Organization. *This is an on-site, long term hourly assignment through Aquent, with potential to convert to a full time perm role. Must be in a commutable distance to Columbus OH to be considered.*

The team’s efforts in creating, designing, implementing and maintaining next-level technology supports the delivery of quality security solutions across all lines of business around the world. The work you’ll do is extremely vital, as it will protect over $18 trillion of assets under custody and $393 billion in deposits every day.

The team is laser-focused on analyzing, designing, developing and delivering solutions built to stop adversaries and strengthen operations. Your work will ensure stability, capacity and resiliency of digital products and emerging industry trends.

 

This role requires:

• 5+ years of experience in a User Interface Design or related role

• Ability to translate abstract concepts and complex visions into elegant user interfaces and experiences

• Leverage existing corporate design languages to ensure consistency and predictability of user experience

• Experience showcasing a variety of deliverables (e.g. annotated wireframes, flow diagrams, research, interactive prototypes) that demonstrate a thoughtful approach to solving complex design problems

• Experience in using Axure RP or other prototyping tools

• Experience with common design software (i.e. Photoshop, Sketch)

• Demonstrated understanding of color theory, composition, typography, and other design basics

• Understanding of common design patterns (how users expect things to be laid out), including information architecture

• Iterative user testing to determine which designs work best with target customer group

• Ability to develop excellent design briefs – collecting and interpreting information about what a design needs to do

• Strong communications & consultative skills

• Experience in Confluence would be a bonus
