A product line at one of our Energy clients is seeking an internal communications specialist with 3-7 years of experience. The purpose of this role is to push out the product line’s “go forward” plan and strategy so that employees at every level understand it and support it. Ideally, this person will be able to create content (writing skill), be able to gather the right people together to schedule a podcast or similar thing (coordination), and handle design assignments such as “cleaning up” a PowerPoint presentation (design). Experience editing video and podcast would be excellent. The team will use a variety of communication channels: posters, a newsletter, video, infographics, etc. This person would sit with the product line, but maintain contact with the Global Internal Comms team to ensure that messaging is consistent, etc. As far as Energy industry experience, it would be easier if the candidate were familiar with the industry but it is not a strict requirement. If not energy, some industrial-type experience would be helpful. This is estimated to be a 6-12 month assignment.
