Job Description:

As a Production Designer you will be responsible for creating print and digital creative for the brand's content based on established core assets, templates and style guides, while continuing to innovate new template designs. The Production Designer will focus predominantly on digital campaigns while also creating relevant print content to bring a holistic approach to the design.

Position Responsibilities:

Reporting to the Art Director, you will multi-task and use your technical skills and attention to detail to deliver high quality assets and meet deadlines. 

In addition, you will:

  • Partner with marketing, design, copy and program management teams
  • Learn, understand and adhere to brand guidelines, style guides and templates
  • Design new elements that align with existing brand standards, templates, and campaigns
  • Participate in review process via Workzone
  • Be an active member of the creative team and pitch in when a project requires an all hands-on deck approach
  • Hand off final files in accordance with established processes
  • Provide direction and quality control for assets designed by outside brands

Requirements:

 

  • 2+ years’ digital production or graphic design experience (agency or in-house marketing a plus)
  • Experience working with digital assets such as email, animated display banners, gifs, social ads and site banners
  • Experience with print design and production
  • Strong attention to detail, typography, color and composition
  • Flexibility and ability to take and incorporate feedback into design
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high volume environment with tight deadlines
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills, ability to juggle priorities
  • Proficient knowledge of Adobe programs: InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop
  • Ability to work independently as well as with a team
  • Understanding of retail and passion for beauty
