As a Technical Producer you will shepherd projects through from concept to prototype. Acting as the technical advisor, you’ll then collaborate with a cross-functional team to prepare the experience for contact with the real world. You will help develop, communicate, and execute project plans, and then take appropriate action to achieve desired results for our internal and external stakeholders. You’ll demonstrate a collaborative working style that bridges technical and creative work-streams, and a resourceful approach to getting things done.
Top Daily Responsibilities:
Provide clear communication to a cross-functional group to define requirements, deliverables and timings to execute on feature roadmaps and support new product introductions.
Define technical and functional requirements and communicate and drive technical integrations gaining the support of engineering, marketing, and other stakeholders.
Proactively identify and address roadblocks and manage dependencies in software and hardware development and procurement.
BA/BS degree in any fields, or minimum 6+ years practical experience.
3-5 years of strong production management or program management skills in a technology-driven
Able to understand electromechanical design and prototyping
Experience with 3D CAD design of complex electrical and mechanical systems custom built for retail / end consumers
Understands all aspects of product design from concept to scalable production
Provides operational and creative support for the deployment of new display technology in retail
Experience working in the technology field and/or with Original Equipment Manufacturers.
Demonstrated ability of high productivity, and extremely detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment ambiguous circumstances
Enthusiastic with demonstrated examples of flexibility, teamwork and dedication
Experience in a retail environment, developing product demonstration experiences (offline and online), and experience working with video/graphic formats, video editing processes and software tools
Nice to Haves:
Familiar with IoT programming languages (C, Java, Python etc.)
Manufacturing workflow design, design-for-production, and robotic control design
