Job Description:

Top Daily Responsibilities 
1. This role will partner with our program manager, other designers, product managers, engineers and leadership in the organization to deliver end-to-end solutions related to our customers identity and profile, management and self-serve needs. 
2. Autonomous day-to-day management of end-to-end projects 
3. Autonomous day-to-day delivery of individual contributions such as strategy, frameworks, maps, models, flows, and mocks 

Tactical Responsibilities 
- Work in lockstep with Product Managers (PM) and Engineering (Eng) counterparts on project’s scope, priorities, timeline and deliverables 
- Work in lockstep with Program Managers (PGM) to help build and maintain project’s trackers and timelines 
- Work in lockstep with UX Manager to scope and prioritize process and deliverables 
Drive agenda of project kickoff, daily standups, weekly PM/UX sync, weekly stakeholder reviews, and bi-weekly design leadership reviews 
- Update management with weekly status 
- Update PM/UX weekly sync agenda and help run meeting 
- Drive daily and weekly prioritization and decision making in alignment with larger project goals 
- Mentor, delegate, and manage daily and weekly priorities of junior members of the team 
- Coordinate activities, deliverables and content to be reviewed for key milestones and meetings 
- Manage your individual contributions and deliverables 
- Report on progress, roadblocks and successes 
- Escalate disputes to leadership 

Strategic Responsibilities 
- Demonstrates ability to lead and/or entirely own projects, including organizing people and processes around project goals 
- Be the go-to person for your project 
- Work with PM to define and complete product strategy document(s) and product requirement document(s) 
- Drive identification and development of key customer user journeys 
- Help evaluate and define success metrics; drive delivery 
- Provide the user-centered expertise, ideas and principles in service of project’s domain. 
- Drive user-centered understanding and engagement across cross functional team and stakeholders, effectively influencing and communicating how solutions address their needs 
- Evaluate impact and propose way forward 
- Mentor junior members of the team, coaching them as necessary 
- Report on progress, roadblocks and successes 
- Propose future strategy 

Required Qualifications: 
- 7+ years of experience in design field 
- Demonstrated skills in systems-based approach to design and problem solving 
- Demonstrated experience in crafting usable digital interfaces 
- Demonstrated experience in delivering multi-touchpoint products, services and experiences 
- Understanding of how to utilize UX methodologies, such as; design systems, models, frameworks, personas, and user journeys to help drive consensus within an organization 
- User centered approach to thinking about design 
- Passion for simplifying the complex through problem solving technique 
- Visual design sensibilities as they relate to applying a brand to digital experiences 
- Excellent leadership, communication, facilitation and collaboration skills 
- Experience having contributed to the end-to-end lifecycle of a product, service and/or experience (research to delivery) 
- Flexible, steady under pressure, and willing to switch gears quickly 
- Organized, self-directed, efficient and able to manage complex projects in a timely manner 

Nice to Have Skills: 
-Master’s degree or equivalent in Design (e.g. interaction, graphic, visual communications, product, industrial), HCI, CS, or a related field or equivalent practical experience 
- Strong curiosity and desire to make the complex clear 
- Ability to learn from mistakes and a willingness to revisit past solutions for further improvements 
- Collaborative working style; focused on getting the best solution rather than your solution 
- Open, honest and direct in your approach to feedback and asking for assistance 
- Experience working with small businesses to large enterprises a plus 
- Experience working with financial services a plus
