Do you have a fierce passion for words and a talent for managing marketing content? If you are adept at using complex content and are comfortable tracking large amounts of information, this is the role for you! ​​Aquent is currently sourcing for a Marketing Content Coordinator for one of our well-respected, Fortune 500 clients, local to the Chicago, IL market area. As a Marketing Content Coordinator, you will be responsible for social-media support, blog coordination, content-calendar management, content partnerships, writing and editing, research, brand initiatives,and a pinch of international marketing to boot. The ideal candidate will play an integral role in ensuring that the content and design projects are kept moving along on a streamlined schedule. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop email campaigns, including copywriting and design using email templates
  • Create rich content that will be featured on our clients blog or other social media channels
  • Responsible for the project management of key content pieces and ensuring stakeholder alignment
  • Design content marketing strategies and set short-term goals
  • Disseminate and manage content on internal platforms, such as sales enablement platforms and internal wikis
  • ​Optimize content considering SEO and Google Analytics
  • Develop content briefs, blogs, newsletters, case studies, whitepapers and manage social media channels
  • Adhoc support of thought-leadership content and crafting scripts and presentation speaker notes
  • Optimize the current marketing automation and lead nurturing processes through email, content, and social media channels

Client Description:

  • Detail oriented, highly organized individual with strong project management skills. 
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team setting including across multiple internal teams. 
  • Adjusts quickly to changing priorities and aggressive time lines. 
  • Experience managing multiple deadlines at one time. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office applications, specifically MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook. 
  • Experience working with and managing agencies and/or vendors a plus. 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Marketing, Communications or related field preferred, not required
  • 1+ years of experience in marketing coordination (internships are fine)
  • Superb communication skills (verbal/written)
