Job Description:

Do I have your attention yet? Aquent is currently sourcing for a Merchandise Production Manager courtesy of one of our prestigious and thriving Fortune 500 organizations local to the San Francisco Bay, CA market area. The ideal candidate will have approximately 3+ years of experience working in a Marketing and/or Creative Operations department managing fixture production timelines, budgets and allocation of inventory and displays. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Conduct walk-throughs and provide creative input as it pertains to floor presentation, window display and product styling
  • ​Vendor point of contact for fixture production timelines and budget; liaison between vendor and internal teams
  • ​Partner with and effectively influence the local visual merchandising teams on seasonal range development based on an optimal store layout across each format 
  • Vendor accountability of pre-determined seasonal timelines/hand-offs; opportunity to revisit production timelines/process 
  • ​Create innovative interior product presentation concepts that driving positive KPI growth
  • Maintains positive vendor relationships in partnership with Merch and Procurement 
  • Timeline integration with PM; strong collaboration to trouble-shoot date shifts/manage risks 
  • ​Analyze product and category performance to make sound decisions on how to improve category performance through merchandising and visual representation
  • Risk mitigation/communication of implications for production timeline/budget 
  • ​Develop and nurture relationships with vendors
  • Budget validation of recommendations for exceptional product functionality within fixture, materials, fixture consistency and execution standards 
  • Fixture budget management, cost negotiation 
  • Cost estimate preparation, collective review with Merch; proactive notification of any budget variances 
  • Quality control (prototype execution–within budget parameters; graphic masters, proofs + press checks; pack out check)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Business, Merchandising, Management or related field preferred
  • ​Retail experience preferred
  • Vendor Management and Project Management experience 
  • 2D/3D Production experience is a plus 
  • Microsoft Excel, Smartsheets, and Microsoft Word proficiency a requirement, graphic applications are a plus.
