Our Fortune 100 Financial Services client is looking to hire a Seeking Spanish Translator/Linguist. Must have Financial Services background.

This is a temporary position that is scheduled to last up to 3 months. Pay is $40hr-$45hr DOE


Client Description:

Role responsibilities:

The professional Spanish Translator will be responsible for supporting enterprise-wide linguistic activities to ensure an optimal in-language customer experience in Spanish.

Responsibilities include:

 Translating, reviewing, proofing, and validating content in context as applicable while adhering to strict style guides, terminology, deadlines, and procedures

 Conducting post-translation review and spot-checking for language accuracy and consistency, reporting defects, and verifying fixes

 Supporting the Wells Fargo Linguistic Manager and In-Language Customer Experience Team on ad hoc projects as needed

 Responding to client feedback, analyzing legal and/or compliance feedback provided, acting as a liaison to settle any pending issues, and verifying feedback implementation by vendors

 Addressing linguistic queries and consultations on a daily basis from internal clients and vendors

Required Qualifications

 4+ years of marketing experience

 Bilingual speaking, reading, and writing proficiency in Spanish/English

Desired Qualifications

 Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

 Strong presentation skills

 A BS/BA degree or higher

 Financial services industry experience

 Ability to influence and collaborate at all internal organizational levels

 Ability to work and influence successfully within a matrix environment and build effective business partnerships with all levels of team members

 Ability to work effectively in virtual environment where key team members and partners are in various time zones and locations

 Advanced Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) skills

 Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

 Outstanding problem solving and decision making skills

 Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills

 Strong presentation skills

 Bachelor’s degree in Spanish translation or linguistics

 Experience as a professional translator for consumer facing content and marketing materials targeting Spanish-speaking audiences

 Experience with translation and terminology management tools (TradosStudio, WorldServer, SDLX, or equivalent)

 Experience using Internet-based resources such as dictionaries and glossaries

Desired Qualifications: Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Strong presentation skills

Must be certified in ATA ( American Translators Association)
