Job Description:

We’re looking for a versatile designer with skills in photography, social media and graphic design experience to contribute on our client's new store initiatives for our global coffee retailer HQ in the Seattle area. The storytelling opportunities are as abundant as they are exciting. Packaging, print, digital, social, merchandise design — on any given day, we do a little bit of everything. We value strategic thinking, listening, presence without ego, the willingness to respond quickly and fearlessly to feedback, and, perhaps most importantly, a highly considered approach to design. Must be proficient in Adobe Creative Suite. Must be able to  understand composition, contrast in regards to photography. The best candidate would have a strong graphic design foundation. They should be able to work in ambiguity and should be comfortable bringing to life big ideas. Not looking for a production designer, but more of a creative thinker. 

Why is this role open? What need will this worker fill? 
With the addition of Social to our teams workload we need both additional support as well as someone with a unique set of skills that involve, photography, social media experience and content development. 

What does a typical work day entail? What are the daily tasks/responsibilities/deliverables? 
This person would be tasked with concepting and producing social media content. In addition they should have strong graphic design skills so that they could work on other projects as needed. 

Must have an online portfolio to be considered and local to the Seattle, WA area.
