Job Description:

​For this assignment, we are seeking an Interaction Designer to work onsite at Aquent's client.

Overall Responsibilities:
-Develop the product strategy in partnership with PM and ENG
-Create new designs, including (but not limited to) high-level and/or detailed user flows, wireframes and mockups to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas.
-Communicate design intent to teams and stakeholders. Clearly rationalize and justify design work and advocate for users’ needs.
-Work closely with user researchers to better inform designs through users’ point of view.
-Collaborate with, and develop mutual respect and trust with, Product/Program Managers, Engineers, Researchers, and Designers.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:

  1. Create user flows, wireframes and mockups
  2. Develop the product strategy in partnership with PM and ENG
  3. Communicate design intent to teams and stakeholders


Required Skills:
-BA/BS degree in Design, Human-Computer - Interactions (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-3+ years of experience working in UI/UX Design field
-Experience with interaction design.
-Excellent problem-solving skills.
-Excellent leadership, communication and teamwork skills.

Nice to Have Skills/Not Required:
-MA/MS degree in Design, Human-Computer - Interactions (HCI), Computer Science (CS) or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
-Service design experience is a plus
-Experience in designing complex desktop or web applications, solving tough interaction challenges is ideal.
-Experience in defining and expanding design systems, components and patterns
