Job Description:

Candidates must have prior experience in an agency and experience supporting biotechnology or healthcare clients.

As a Digital Designer, the main responsibility is the creation and delivery of a range of cross-platform digital work. This can be anything from responsive sites and emails to banners, marketing landing pages social media assets. It involves working closely with Creatives, UX and Developers and project managers. The role could involve taking a simple hand-drawn sketch or verbal direction to interactive wireframe and creating  a digital campaign or layout using Photoshop and/or other Adobe creative suite software.


As a Digital Designer you’ll also be responsible for:

  • The full project lifecycle – from brief to design to usability
  • Working from creative input or, on pure design-led projects, creating a range of cross-platform design work
  • Working collaboratively with Creatives, UX or Developers to deliver digital output of the highest quality and to brief
  • Staying on track with emerging digital trends and culture
  • Articulating and presenting creative ideas/treatments to teams
  • Agency experience in designing cutting-edge websites, interfaces and/or digital campaigns (including banners, microsites, emails)
  • An exceptional online portfolio showcasing innovative design concepts and highly considered visual executions
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (this could include, After Effects, Premiere Pro, XD and Muse or Sketch)
  • Knowledge/understanding of HTML, CSS and video can be beneficial but is not always essential
  • Proven understanding of typography, layout, color and grid structures
  • High attention to detail.

Years of experience are not a prerequisite. Instead, it is all about your creative and design capability and demonstrable experience. The types of project size you’ve worked on, your knowledge of emerging trends and the fundamentals of graphic design are key.
