Job Description:


Email Strategy and Creative Development (10%) 

- Work closely with business partners to align on strategy for assigned campaigns (5 – 7 / week) 
- Support creative email asset development 
- Write creative briefs and set direction for Creative team including email objectives and messaging hierarchy 
- Consolidate and provide feedback from Marketing and DSO teams during the email development process 
- Work with Creative Producers to identify and optimize process improvements 

Segmentation, HTML Generation and Campaign Set Up (70%) 

- Build emails using HTML 
- Gather feedback from Marketing and DSO teams and make business critical changes to emails 
- Build audience lists and validate counts and data fields 
- Prepare emails for deployment – add tracking tags, QA links, images, copy 
- Schedule and send emails 

Reporting & Analysis and Process improvement (20%) 

- Run reports and provide analysis for assigned campaigns 
- Share recommendations on future optimization strategies with email team and relevant business partners 
- Assist with development and launch of new email tools and technology 
- Identify areas of improvement and provide recommendations 
- Be an active participant in team discussions about competitive landscape, trends, email strategy, etc… 

Title: Email Marketing Coordinator 
Location: 850 Cherry, San Bruno, CA 
Duration: 4 months, possibility of extension through a year 
Interview Process: 1st round: 30-minute WebEx phone screen, 2nd round: 1-hour panel 
Reason: Increased email production needed

Must haves: 
-Intermediate to advanced Excel experience 
-pivot tables, end to end data analysis 
-2-3 years HTML Experience 
-1-2 years of experience with email marketing 
-1-2 years of experience with email service provider 
-Microsoft office: Excel, PowerPoint, Windows, Word 

Plus: 
-JavaScript 
-Design experience 
-SQL 
-Experience with Social Media (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram) campaigns 
-Experience in SEO or SEM 
-Experience in display marketing campaigns 
-Experience with app notification campaigns 

Day to Day: 
• Email HTML production 
• Email campaign set up 
• Executing email segmentation through internal tool set 
• Build audience lists and validate counts and data fields 
• Schedule and send emails 
• Support creative email asset development - Write creative briefs and set direction for Creative team 
• Consolidate and provide feedback from Marketing and DSO teams during the email development process

• Gather feedback from Marketing and Merchandising teams and make business critical changes to emails 
• Prepare emails for deployment – add tracking tags, QA links, images, copy 
• Run reports and provide analysis for assigned campaigns 
• Share recommendations on future optimization strategies with email team and relevant business partners 
• Be an active participant in team discussions about competitive landscape, trends, email strategy
