Job Description:

We are looking for a highly competent and passionate copy writer/editor to join our creative
studio in Conshohocken, PA. The Editor will be dedicated to support an internal global
communications department for our current pharmaceutical client. The global communications
department gathers, interprets, and converts internal and external information into a strategic,
centralized platform — company-wide. The editor will be partnering with our Account Manager
for occasional client facing meetings and will work closely with our studio team to create clear,
concise, and understandable content from multiple resources. The editor will also be highly
effective organizing and building communications using modular content so that messaging is
fluid and on point strategically. The editor is responsible for re-developing existing content or
creating new, making ongoing updates/changes, and preparing jobs for client's promotional
review team following all standards/guidelines.

The editor must possess a quality work ethic and handle quick/fast-paced demands. Editor will
follow AMA guidelines and should have a solid working knowledge of grammar, punctuation,
composition in providing clarity and flow. The editor contributes to a successful review process
through meticulous fact checking, referencing and annotating of resources in adherence with
compliance, guidelines, and standards.
While copy editing skills are critical to this role, the ideal candidate will also possess strong
writing skills, and be familiar with health literacy principles and practices.
Key Accountabilities:
 Write, rewrite, and edit copy
 Fact check, reference and annotate resources for successful review cycles
 Use proofreading, grammar, and punctuation to provide quality output
 Ensure content adheres to all compliance, guidelines, and standards prior to and during
formal review processes
 Effectively manage changes to modular content manuscripts
 Manages multiple projects simultaneously with concurrent deadlines
 Remain relevant by keeping abreast of all guidelines and standards
 Contribute to efficiencies by being proficient with electronic and online editing and
review tools; expert in utilizing commenting/mark up tools in Adobe Acrobat
 Energetic team member that works jointly with interdisciplinary roles; creative
operations director, account manager, project manager, designers, and other fellow
 Skilled with Microsoft Office programs and Google email/apps

• BA or BS degree in English or Communications
• 3 to 5 years writing and editing experience preferably within the pharmaceutical field or
studio/agency environment.
 Pharmaceutical promotional writing and/or Corporate communications writing is a plus
• 2 to 3 years’ experience annotating resources and reference sourcing
• Health Literacy certification highly sought; but not mandatory
