Job Description:

In this assignment, you will work with Aquent's client Music Artist and Industry Marketing team to support with the artist promo operations and the business analysis and development of the client's music business. In this role, you will oversee the setup and reporting of artist promotional campaigns. ​


This role requires analytical thinking, music business expertise, strategic planning, and hyper-organized execution. In addition to expertly managing daily promo efforts, you should be able to provide analytical deep dives crucial to strategic artist and music industry marketing initiatives.

Overall Responsibilities
-Oversee the artist promo operations from beginning to end: gather intel on weekly priorities, set up the internal team to secure promo, track the performance of the promoted artists, create recap reports.
-Support global client Music Artist and Industry marketing team through business analysis and development.
-Work with internal / external research teams to get insights about the music user that will be later implemented in strategies.
-Work with cross-functional contributors including Product, Partnerships, Legal to gather information and design the training modules. Lead content theme development for each of the modules. Manage all deliverables, project plans, agendas and reporting for each session
-Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to senior management and to the broader organization.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
-Work with x-functional teams (product / partnerships) to set up artist promotional campaigns.
-Play a pivotal role in supporting the global client Music Artist and Industry marketing team through business analysis and development.
-Prepare presentations and clearly communicate findings from initiatives to senior management and to the broader organization.

Requirements:
BA/BS degree in relevant field(s) of study
3+ years of relevant experience working in media and/or marketing, or strategy consulting, preferably in the music/entertainment or tech sectors.
Excellent written and oral communication and interpersonal skills.
Distinctive problem solving and analysis skills and impeccable business judgment. Superior Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros etc.) and Google docs skills.
A passion for music: The ideal candidate listens and remains privy to a wide variety of musical genres, especially those most relevant to our social tactics and promo.
