Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Revenue performance analysis:
    • Lead analysis on product performance and adoption to drive insights
    • Understand and highlight daily/weekly/quarterly revenue trends
    • Develop a deep understanding of existing business using data to build insights about our advertisers, agencies, products and competitors
    • Ability to synthesize impact on financials/economics on our business and provide business analytic strength to help drive initiatives critical to ongoing growth
  • Strategic Planning:
    • Analyze market segments that are currently underserved and over-served, and develop plans to reallocate resourced accordingly
    • Support sales teams on medium/long-term planning including revenue potential, product focus, resourcing and org design
    • Strategically evaluating market opportunities to translate insights into actions, working with leadership and cross-functional teams to drive growth in the business
    • Create and utilize metrics to evaluate the business, and to direct product marketing, operating decisions and resource priorities

Skills:

  • Demonstrated problem solving ability with experience providing practical business insights from large, complex data sets
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to present technical content to general audiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including advanced PowerPoint/presentation ability
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple concurrent projects and drive initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Experience in data visualizations and building scalable reporting tools also preferred but not required
  • Experience in media/technology is highly desirable but not required

Education:

  • BA/BS required from a top institution, ideally in business-related subject (e.g., Finance, Economics) or analytical field (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics); MBA preferred
  • 4+ years work experience in a quantitative or analytical field (e.g. finance, business analytics, consulting, banking, business operations, sales operations)
