Marketing Communications & Campaign Specialist 

The Marketing Communications Specialist will develop, execute and manage integrated advertising, brand management and social media strategies for multiple business units across the company.  This person will work closely with Marketing, Channel Teams, Sales, eBusiness, Customer Service and others to identify business needs and lead these teams to plan and implement the ongoing strategies, marketing initiatives, campaigns and social media strategies to help drive market share, brand awareness and ensure consistent messaging across all platforms. As a result, this person must understand the business unit needs and objectives and liaises closely with them throughout campaigns, meeting regularly to help them identify project-specific go-to-market strategies. The successful candidate will build traditional and social media plans for product launches through advertising, promotions, social media engagement campaigns and PR events. They will work closely with internal stakeholders to collaborate and execute marketing/communication strategies to achieve maximum brand and product exposure.  The right candidate will ensure that advertising and social media programs are compliant with company policies, meet corporate objectives, and are consistent with advertising and brand guidelines.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Marketing, Communications, Journalism or media studies with other appropriate experience
  • A minimum of 3 years developing and leading the execution of marketing communications campaigns
  • 2+ years of account management, product management, brand marketing and/or marketing experience

Responsibilities

  • Provide marketing support and assistance to various business units for promotional activities
  • Oversee all phases of social media campaign promotional planning, research, design, content development, execution, and ongoing analysis
  • Develop targeted marketing communications campaigns
  • Develop procedures to link traditional marketing and digital activities with social media activities across all external engagements
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure alignment of brand strategy and compliance with branding guidelines
  • Advise and inform reporting manager on all advertising/brand/media matters
