Description:

This role is responsible for operationalizing, conceptualizing and executing primary (qualitative and quantitative) and secondary market research projects and analyses to help drive data-based decision making in the Market Access Space.

 

Position Responsibilities:

  • Manages primary (qualitative and quantitative) research projects to efficiently deliver creative, customer and market-based input on strategic and tactical business issues
  • Designs and executes standard research methodologies with moderate supervision, partnering with access and payer marketing team members and outside vendors to customize research design and methodologies where appropriate
  • Synthesizes data from multiple sources and develops realistic, insightful and actionable recommendations, and present the data/recommendations in a coherent, meaningful way 
  • Leads department project management needs to ensure optimal business work flow
  • Effectively prioritizes assignments in line with business priorities
  • Works closely with the internal cross-functional teams (Market Access, Payer marketing, Medical, ) and represents the Market Research function on key internal business teams and workstreams
  • Partners with Access Analytics to develop integrated deliverables with deeper, break-through insights

 

Qualifications:

  • BA/BS in Marketing, Business, Market Research, Mathematics, Finance,  or equivalent required

·       Advanced degree in General Business, Finance, Economics, Market Research, Operations Research, or Statistics preferred

·       2+ years of relevant primary market research experience

·       2+ years of relevant market access experience strongly preferred

·       Pharmaceutical industry experience or previous market access consulting experience required

·       Experience in the key functional areas of market research, including design and analysis of primary market research and secondary data analysis required

·       Strong project management experience optimizing productivity and project planning required

  • Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems/data gathered from a variety of sources, and use the data to develop key recommendations
  • Ability to balance multiple projects simultaneously and work independently to deliver timely and accurate information and analyses
  • Ability to effectively work in a matrix environment
  • Strong communication, collaboration and project management skills; strong attention to detail
