Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Site Merchandising Specialist! 

This person will be: 

- Manage day-to-day Site Operations project - item setup, product categorization, item ranking and visual merchandizing 
- Build and optimizes site for multiple departments and seasonal campaigns 
- Resolve small to mid-sized back-end issues related to item setup in a content management system, attribution and navigation. 
- Be able to conceptualize, build and maintain backend website taxonomy to support new and existing business categories, optimizing experiences for discoverability and SEO

Position Description 
• Build and optimize site for one or more departments 
• Demonstrate up-to-date expertise in Site Operations and apply this to the development, execution and improvement of action plans 
• Manage day-to-day Site Operations projects - item setup, product categorization and visual merchandising 
• Resolve small to mid-sized back-end issues related to item setup in a content management system, attribution and navigation 
• Be able to conceptualize, build and maintain backend website taxonomy to optimize experiences for discoverability and SEO 
• Manage day-to-day relationships with cross-functional partners 
• Provide and support the implementation of business solutions 
• Model compliance with company policies and procedures, and support company standards of ethics and integrity 

Minimum Qualifications 
• 1-2 years of experience in eCommerce, retail, web build, visual merchandising 
• 1-2 years of experience working in CMS (content management systems) 
• Strong computer skills, particularly with Excel, and familiarity and comfort with database applications 
• Exceptionally detail oriented with ability to juggle multiple priorities simultaneously 
• Process and track multiple inbound and outbound data requests without errors 
• Strong academic background in business or finance or a work history that demonstrates competence managing multiple information streams 

Interpersonal Competencies 
• Quick learner; comfortable with ambiguity and a willingness to take initiative 
• Team oriented; demonstrated ability to work and collaborate effectively with others 

Additional Preferred Qualifications 
• 1-2 years experience in a merchandising, customer service, project coordinator or administration 
• BA/BS degree
