Job Description:

​As a content strategist in this assignment, you’ll be responsible for the planning, development and governance of cohesive communications across multiple touch points. Tasks may include: web editorial strategies, guideline creation, brand storytelling, copywriting, and content analysis including audits and taxonomies.

The content strategists develop product experiences by creating meaningful copy, and narratives, that helps users navigate and enjoy client's products and destinations. You’ll work on a Creative team within Marketing, partnering with Design, UX, Product Management, and Engineering to maintain a consistent, authentic voice across products, driving intentional communication with every word. You’ll use empathy, logical reasoning, and data to strengthen content choices, and you’ll pursue a deep understanding of your products in order to find the right words. You’ll define guidelines and develop tools to help your cross-functional team members make good content choices too.

We need a content strategist who can thrive in a fast-paced and often unpredictable environment. In this role you'll be working closely with the aforementioned partner teams to guide the effective deployment of the content and tools we have at our disposal to remind the world what they love about client's brand.

Top Daily Responsibilities:
Create strategic narratives to drive cohesion between multiple websites and related products
Leverage the written word to champion the brand in authentic and imaginative ways
Review and synthesize insights to help shape editorial strategies
Inform UX flow, in partnership with IA and Design leads, to determine UI text and appropriate messaging hierarchies

Additional Responsibilities:
Develop communications across large project areas, often global in scope
Incorporate feedback from multiple sources and iterate rapidly on mockups
Fulfill several project requests simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines.
Drive projects from start to finish, collaborating with Marketing, Program Managers, and Creative team members
Develop documentation to ensure copy and content handoff to partner teams, including Legal, Localization, and CMS team
Create guidelines and inspire teams to produce best-in-class content, including defining copy tone & voice style
Implement working processes for copy style guides as well as methods for efficiency and communication

BA/BS Degree in any field
4 - 7 years of online editing, content creation, and/or content strategy experience, preferable with a portion of that experience in an agency or consulting environment
Ability to flex across content strategy and copywriting
Strong command of the English language; an eye for details, meticulous grammar, and proofreading skills
Strong project management skills to manage multiple workstreams on multiple products
Excellent business acumen, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills — with experience interacting with senior-level executives
Experience writing for technology brand preferred
Experience with editorial processes, such as style guidelines and content management systems
Knowledge of defining project schedules, scoping work, and managing stakeholders
Experience working in agile product development environments; able to adapt quickly and create solutions independently or collaboratively
Creative problem solver; scrappy; brings enthusiasm to the workplace — and the work.
