Our streaming media client is looking to fill a role for a temporary contractor on the Digital Marketing Operations team. This individual will lead efforts to identify testing requirements and review all email campaigns as part of an enhancement project. This individual will have a strong attention to detail and must work well within a matrixed organization. 

Duties and Responsibilities: 
Lead efforts to gather and document testing requirements from business owners for their respective email marketing campaigns 
Review live email tests and provide feedback to vendor as updates are needed, including: 
Rendering 
Content 
Spelling 
Functioning links (planned destination page, landing page experience, web analytics tags, etc.) 
Versioning and dynamic content 
Report on progress daily, weekly, monthly to the Marketing Operations and business teams 
Conduct root cause analysis when issues arise 
Ensure security policies and practices are adhered to during implementation 
Proactively identify process efficiencies and make recommendations 

Minimum Qualifications: 
Bachelor's degree (or above) and/or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred 
4+ years in B2C or B2B digital marketing with a focus in email production/channel management 
Agency/email service provider experience preferred 
Experience working in email delivery platforms, such as Cheetahmail, Salesforce and Oracle, Adobe 
Experience using digital project management tools, such as Basecamp, Jira, Rally, etc. 

Requirements and General Skills: 
Experience working in a matrixed organization with a commitment to serve all "internal customers" 
Experience developing formal business/functional requirements documentation 
Experience developing and tracking/monitoring KPIs and analyzing results 
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and able to communicate complex concepts to a variety of audiences -- from developers and database admins, to marketing managers and executives 
Strong, proven organizational and time management skills. Detail-oriented. Must be able to manage multiple projects, timelines, budgets and campaign objectives at once. 
Must be able to work independently and in a team environment; successful track record managing complex, large-scale web projects with multiple stakeholders 
Excellent written and verbal communication skills 
Spelling, grammar, proofreading and editing skills 
Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
Ability to project a professional image over the phone and in person 
Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects 
Strong organizational skills and attention to details 
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment 
Must have legal right to work in the U.S. 

Technical Skills: 
Strong understanding of email testing and QA practices 
Experience implementing web analytics tags (e.g. Omniture and Google Analytics) and URL parameters 
Understanding of secure HTTP (HTTPS) and URL construction (e.g. appending parameters/values, URL encoded characters, etc.) 
Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
