Job Description:

  • Demonstrated record of developing and implementing sophisticated strategic communications plans
  • At least 3 years of project management and planning experience for federal clients, including experience managing content development and proposing and implementing strategy
  • Experience providing communications to government agencies and senior officials
  • Experience in stakeholder and audience analysis
  • Mastery of skills related to document preparation, such as reports and deliverables
  • Initiative to complete tasks with little to no follow-on guidance 
  • Experience in using videos and new media to communicate to diverse audiences
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with people at all levels
  • Excellent verbal communication skills, to include the ability to quickly summarize progress on a particular project for high level leaders 
  • Excellent written communication skills, to include the ability to quickly summarize any subject and put the “bottom line up front, while providing the long form documentation as a deliverable
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and creatively
  • Proven ability to meet deadlines and work on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Collaborative team player 
  • Flexible—willing to do all levels of work required to make a project successful
  • Positive—ability to collaborate with and promote a positive relationship between colleagues, partners, and stakeholders
  • At least 10 Years of experience in Communications, or PR or Marketing

-Strategic Communications Leader who has built Communication Plans and can direct team
-Responsible for External/Internal Communications
-Various Media: eNewsletters, Video, Website, Graphics, Presentations + Visual Graphics input
-Ability to think strategically and provide visual concepts
-Supervisory exp. ability and past performance to lead  jr. to mid-level team
-Chart and Direct Growth for group
-Understand importance to learn new environment, get up-to-speed in new role prior to suggesting changes and making contributions TEAM PLAYER
