Job Description:

The Project Manager, Content & Consumer Engagement, is well versed in managing multiple 
projects for an in-house brand, with knowledge of consumer and product marketing. In this role, 
the Project Manager, Content & Consumer Engagement acts as the day-to- day project 
management lead for the Creative department’s portfolio of content-related projects, including 
digital, print, content, education, social, and PR. In collaboration with our stakeholders and 
project management office, you drive projects to successful on-time conclusions within budget 
and scope. 

Responsibilities and Duties 
Project Management 
 Planning: 
o Work closely with program manager to plan and develop scope, deliverables, 
required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives; responsible 
for creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. 
o Identify key dependencies needed from cross-functional teams and external 
vendors. 
o Work with program manager to identify risks and opportunities across multiple 
projects within the department. 
 Monitoring, Evaluating, and Reporting: 
o Drive aspects of the governance process including monitoring and reporting out 
project progress, major issues/risks requiring escalation, and enforcing project 
constraints (schedule/scope/resources). 
o Issue project agendas before meetings to ensure goals and objectives are met at 
every meeting. 
o Work with project coordinators to distribute meeting notes, decisions, and action 
items in a timely manner. 
o Monitor and manage scope by ensuring any changes are documented, 
prioritized, approved and reported to all business teams and stakeholders; must 
be able to help stakeholders quantify scope changes in terms of budget, time, 
and resource implications. 
o Manage resource allocation (creative/copy and external agency teams) to ensure 
deliverable specifications are met and delivered on time. 
o Conduct weekly project status reviews with Production, Creative, and Marketing 
teams to align all stakeholders on priorities and schedule. 
o Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering 
against established business goals/objectives. 
o Evaluate the root cause of deviations from the plan; report and resolve escalated 
business issues and remove productivity barriers. 
 Closing: 
o Conduct post-project reviews with all stakeholders to analyze project successes 
and opportunities for improvements. 
Process Improvement & Leadership 
 Recommend changes to existing program/project management approach and related 
tools. 
 Champion internal systems for higher productivity and working. 
Financial and Administrative 
 Manage cross-project dependencies, prioritizing and coordinating shared resources with 
other project managers. 
 Monitor all internal and external costs for assigned projects to ensure they are within the 
overall budget plan. 
 Review WIPs and final billing reports. 
 Provide monthly project spend to program manager for finance budget meetings. 

Requirements 
 Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Marketing, Advertising, or Equivalent 
 Experience in integrated marketing preferred 
 PMI Certification and familiarity with Agile Methodologies (or certification) preferred 
 Minimum of 4 years’ experience in project management for an in-house creative team or 
agency 
 Well versed in executing a portfolio of campaigns across multiple platforms 
 Great project management abilities with self-starter attitude 
 Self-motivated and willing to expand knowledge 
 Experience working with internal and external teams to develop and negotiate project 
scopes and budgets 
 Ability to self-manage while managing assigned teams and projects under tight 
deadlines. 
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; MS Project and/or other project management 
tools preferred 
 Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues 
at various levels.
