Job Description:

Our valued global financial services client seeks a document specialist for a short term assignment in the New York city area.  Great opportunity to work with a well-respected global brand.  The specialist would be reviewing and updating stored Word documents, applying consistent styles across the library, and applying metadata tags based on the content in each file so they can be retrieved by users. The talent would need to “dissect” materials that were used previously and turn them into styled, formatted and tagged documents uploaded into the database. 

The right fit would be an expert with Word, comfortable with styles and all aspects of formatting, image management, etc. While not seeking a writer necessarily, he or she would have to be astute enough to recognize document structure (headers, second level, bullet list and numbering arrangements) and style the text appropriately, as well as recognize content and apply tags from a list. This would be on site for several months.
