Job Description:

Our client, a Fortune 100 Energy Company is looking for a C# WPF software developer for the design, development and support of framework to build scientific applications. They will work with researchers, engineers and other subject matter experts to understand their needs, prototype solutions, communicate progress and deliver usable features. Work in an Agile environment with team members distributed across three different countries (US, Argentina, India).  Interact with User Experience designers to build usable graphical interfaces, and with a dedicated Quality Assurance team to ensure quality attributes in the features added to the framework. Provide technical support and guidance to new and existing users of the framework. Maintain and produce framework documentation.

Core Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of C# and WPF with +5 years of experience building desktop UI applications
  • Strong object oriented design skills with in-depth knowledge of design patterns
  • Experience working with testing frameworks (unit, regression, integration, UI, etc.)

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with MATLAB
  • Experience with WPF chart libraries such as Infragistics and SciChart
  • Experience with Oil & Gas applications
