Job Description:

Marketing Project Manager be working to deliver strong advertising, promotions, sales support, for a product-related company. Responsibilities are related to 3 consumer facing brands. Marketing channels are business-to-consumer and business-to-business.

The Marketing Project Manager will be consultative/strategic with internal product managers and marketing managers - suggesting ways to improve campaigns, utilizing digital, building consensus.

The Marketing Project Manager will:

  • Assess new projects, uncover gaps, provide creative input to develop projects

  • Develop and manage timelines

  • Manage budgets, vendor and agency relationships as needed

  • Deliver assets to outside vendors

  • Interpret brand guidelines when necessary
    Develop messaging, make content suggestions, short form copywriting

  • Understanding project requirements, meeting file requirements

  • Anticipating and pre-empting client needs

  • Work with teams and tools to keep projects on task and meet all deadlines

  • Collaborate with internal graphic designers, production, supply chain, procurement, and legal among others

  • Utilize internal project management solutions (Salesforce, Filemaker)

  • Manage complex and robust marketing projects of varying types - including promotions, point-of-purchase, printed mailers, advertising, microsites, email blasts, web banners, videos, and more.

  • Keep abreast of new marketing media and trends in digital and print as they evolve.



Requirements and information:

Best candidates will be consultative, have a strong attention to detail, experience in advertising/consumer environment and the ability to understand creative

Ideal candidate will have a degree in advertising, design, communications or similar plus at least five years experience managing projects on the agency side
