Job Description:

We are seeking a Marketing Specialist for a short-term consulting assignment to help our client’s team out during a busy period. The assignment would start in early October and is targeted to last 6 weeks. The Marketing Consultant would support business and marketing communications for this Healthcare client by assisting in the execution of communications plans.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing presentations
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Developing and programming email message campaigns
  • Tracking and running campaign metric results
  • Database management
  • Managing internal distribution lists
  • Preparing and programming surveys and reports
  • Developing and posting internal website content
  • Assisting with large meeting coordination
  • Managing marketing collateral inventory
  • Creating and designing visual graphics for use across multiple platforms (email, web, and print campaigns)
  • Preparing and tracking invoices through internal procurement system
  • Generally serves as a supporting role on larger, more complex projects but may lead smaller or less complex projects.
  • Also need to work with Creative Services and other graphic design or photography vendors to execute specific projects.

Requirements:

Desired Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in communications or equivalent field or equivalent work experience.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Communications, Marketing or related field (large matrixed organization a plus)
  • PC proficient, highly experienced in MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint is a must Proficient in Adobe PhotoShop
  • Experience in MS SharePoint is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines
  • Event planning and coordination
  • Proactive, self-starter who functions well independently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and superior organizational skills are a must
  • Flexible and positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure
