Job Description:

The Associate Category Manager will assist the Category Manager in developing category plans and help manage the implementation of those plans so that they are on-time, in budget, and flawlessly executed. An ideal candidate would have traditional Account Management and some Project  Management experience. They could contribute  to key projects with direction from the internal team.  From pitch decks and status reports, to plan updates, this person can liaise with internal partners on specific deliverables in support of brand initiatives.

The Role

  • Assist in the development of effective category marketing programs.

  • Support development of marketing plans and briefs.

  • Coordinate evaluation of execution during and after campaign launch.

  • Work effectively with Brand Communications to deliver ground-breaking work.

  • Develop campaign recaps, updates and brand reporting with accuracy and on time.

  • Prepare and submit to leadership regular performance updates to include:

    * Product mix performance and trends
    * Competitive product mix performance and trends * New product performance targets and tracking
    * Consumer insights

  • Build trust, value others, communicate effectively (written and oral), collaborate with others, and demonstrate high integrity.

  • Maintain professional internal and external relationships that meet Beats’ core values.

  • Demonstrate the ability to interact and cooperate with all company employees.

    Qualifications

  • 3+years of traditional Brand Marketing experience.

  • Able to assist with planning and budgeting.

  • World class marketing campaign experience is strongly preferred.

  • Extensive creative and production experience, the ability to manage complex projects

    is essential.

  • Assist in the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns.

  • Experience interacting with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to organize workload throughout the day to meet project timelines and

    deadlines.

    Education

    Bachelor’s degree required.
