Job Description:

Our larger Fortune 500 client is seeking a Marketing Assistant to work with them on a contract basis and be responsible for providing business administrative support for marketing activities for their global business. This position is a good match for an entry-level marketing administrative candidate who is highly organized and efficient, adept at project execution and detail oriented by nature, and enjoys enabling the team with the tools and support required to be successful.

The ideal candidate has superior organizational and time management skills, works effectively in a highly complex and dynamic environment, has excellent written and verbal communication skills, understands personality dynamics and works collaboratively with all members of the team, is comfortable in a large matrixed organization, can easily take direction and run with it, and has a positive, “can do” attitude.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborating with Marketing leadership, you will be responsible for marketing administrative support
  •  Assist with writing and proofreading of Marketing materials
  • Handle specific administrative projects and tasks as assigned 
  • Support implementation of marketing and communication programs across lines of business
  • Establish systems and processes to create efficiencies

Requirements:

Desired Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Marketing or Sales, or related field (large matrixed organization a plus)
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field preferred, but not required
  • PC proficient, highly experienced in MS Office Suite – Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint 
  • Proactive, self-starter who functions well independently
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and superior organizational skills are a must
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet project deadlines
  • Flexible and positive attitude, ability to perform under pressure
  • Experience reconciling budgets
  • Successful candidates will be required to pass a drug test and background check prior to start
