Job Description:

In this assignment, you will be a Training Events PM in the client's Cloud Professional Services team.  As the training events PM you will be responsible for managing a checklist of items that need to be set-up at every training event. e.g. ensuring that they have training classes/labs running, training and certifications booths in place, staff to man them, collateral around training offering available, relevant promotions in place (e.g. vouchers with Coursera, our training partner) etc.  The team is planning on running 40+ such events between now and the end of the year. These events include onboard events, roadshow events, the conferences as well as a number of other one-off events where they need to provide and promote training and Certification.

Top 3 Daily Responsibilities:
Training delivery event co-ordination (e.g. working with marketing and ensuring training playbook ‘rolled’ out at each event)
Training communications - internal comms, ensuring site, training newsletter, team site, etc all in place and up to date
Training partner comms and partner community

Overall Responsibilities:
Managing a checklist of items that need to be set-up at every training event to ensure a successful delivery.

Required Qualifications:
BA/BS degree (no specific field required)
10 year of progressive experience managing convention /event planning activities for “client side” organization
Experience managing conventions/events within a highly regulated environment
A proven ability to communicate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Regulatory, Executive Management, and vendors
The ability to manage workloads and prioritize requests to meet deadlines

Nice to Have:
A proactive approach to "managing" internal customers, such as ensuring that they register on time
Outstanding project management skills
Strong problem solving, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
The ability to work independently and with minimum direction
Robust attention to the details without losing sight of the big picture
