Job Description:

High level experience. Must have network/mobile experience in Marketing. We are looking for experienced consumer digital marketing experts, and particularly people that have deep social and/or mobile application marketing experience. Please note, this role has two sets of responsibilities!

Location: SF Bay Area preferred, Irvine, CA or Denver, CO are also possibilities. 

 

Role #1:
CRM and Customer Engagement 
• Create and manage key touchpoints and moments of truth across the customer’s relationship with the company, with a goal of creating loyal users and brand evangelists 
• Drive mobile app and social engagement of our user base using state of the art mobile app techniques and tools 
• Develop a customer rewards and referral program and related incentives 
• Create and execute campaigns targeted at existing customers over the entire journey from onboarding to retention 
• Help set up a state of the art martech stack 
• Define customer community processes and benefits 


Qualifications 
• 4+ years working in loyalty, customer engagement or a customer service leadership role 
• 2+ years of working in consumer product and/or technology brands 
• Familiarity with state of the art mobile engagement tools is desired, but not required 
• BS/BA and MS/MBA degree preferred, or alternatively 10+ years in customer service with a proven track record of identifying pain points and fixing them 
• A process and customer experience orientation, with proven examples of success 
• Be both a left-brain and right brained thinker – an ability to think creatively about the customer experience, but with the quantitative skills to make data driven decisions 
• Strong organizational, negotiation and interpersonal skills to successfully communicate ideas and recommendations to all levels within an organization. 


Role # 2 Responsibilities: Marketing Communications and PR 
• Participate in a day-to-day role with various agencies on establishing a new brand and brand identity 
• Project manage (from the client role) various projects with the agencies 
• Act as the brand steward as other customer-facing touchpoints are established – for example, customer service, the web site, and mobile app 
• Create a PR strategy for what to do prelaunch, at launch and post launch 
• Manage brand asset library creation 


Qualifications 
• 4+ years at a consumer-facing company managing marcomm across digital, mobile and/or social media 
• 2+ years of public relations experience either at an agency or as a client 
• 2+ years of working in consumer product and/or technology brands 
• Experience in framing and proactively communicating a company’s position with media and other key influencers 
• Ability to plan and execute complex projects strategically and autonomously 
• Documented experience in planning and producing written communications materials including news releases, media pitches, elevator speeches, customer success stories, fact sheets, white papers; social media 
• Superior written and verbal communications skills, and evidence of creative writing experience
