Job Description:

Space Planners are part of the Global Workplace team. As part of this dynamic team, you will assist in coordinating the ever changing work scape with an emphasis on space planning in HQ spaces.  In addition, you have the opportunity to work with the team on several regional new build-outs. This unique position which interacts with all departments and reports to the Space Plan Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform scenario analysis for various teams, providing what-if scenarios for future space requirements at multiple building locations

  • Meet with internal teams to discuss current and future space requirements

  • Create and provide utilization studies on all buildings

  • Block out interior spatial areas, define circulation patterns, and develop plans and layouts for furniture and equipment placement utilizing AutoCAD/CAFM System

  • Modify existing floor plans to maximize space utilizations

  • Analyze existing space and provides suggestions for future builds

  • Manage internal and external move vendor teams

  • Assist Space Plan Manager the internal space programs and initiatives

  • Conduct surveys following floor openings and moves, analyzing data for continual process improvements

  • Partner with the Space Plan Manager to maintain current data and space utilization records

 

Requirements:

  • 5 - 7 years of experience in Space and Strategic Move Management

  • Degree in Architecture, Design or other Facilities related discipline

  • Experience with CAFM Systems required

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD required

  • Experience with implementation of business and architectural standards

  • Understanding of basic regional building codes and spatial programming relationships

  • Ability to problem solve based on historical data and logic

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple projects while making a day-to-day impact
