Sr Consultant Marketing AnalyticsPosition Workgroup:
Participates in all phases of analytic projects. Analyzes 
trends and patterns from structured and unstructured 
data in support of business objectives. Identifies and 
communicates meaningful insights and provides input to the project team. Automates the production of charts, summaries and reports using R and SQL programming languages. Committed to learning and development of new technical and analytical skills. 

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

1. Participates in the delivery of analytic work that 
supports business objectives and priorities. 

2. Responsible for creating and packaging analytic 
outputs such as insights, conclusions and 
recommendations. 

3. Develops data visualizations, reports, statistical 
models and presentations of findings. 

4. Analyzes datasets which contain the results from A/B experiments. 

5. Builds analytic solutions using SQL and R 
programming languages and or similar / related tools. 

6. Performs other duties as assigned. 

JOB REQUIREMENTS: 

Education: Undergraduate studies with graduate studies preferred. 

Experience: Experience with problem solving in a team 
environment. Experience working with business, 
geographic, or scientific data to identify trends, 
relationships, and opportunities. Experience with one or more object ­oriented programming language. 

Knowledge: Familiarity with the insurance and financial 
services industry. Knowledgeable regarding the core 
functions of a large services organization (call centers, 
billing, finance, sales, marketing, product, pricing, etc.). 

Familiarity with data analysis techniques, statistical 
modeling, probability, hypothesis testing and 
experimental design. 

Skills/Competencies: Proficiency with one or more 
statistical analysis software package or programming 
language such as R, SAS, SPSS, or MatLab. Proficiency with R preferred. Proficiency with SQL and relational databases preferred. Ability to identify and evaluate variables related to consumer behavior and business outcomes. Ability to translate analytic findings into actionable recommendations within a business setting. 

Ability to write reusable and shareable code by 
developing functions and scripts that automate tasks 
and workflows.
