ECOMMERCE MARKETING ASSISTANT

START DATE: ASAP

CONTRACT: 4 MONTHS

LOCATION: SEATTLE, WA

PAY:  DOE

** A FORTUNE 500 RETAIL COMPANY IS LOOKING FOR AN EXCEPTIONAL ECOMMERCE MARKETING ASSISTANT! **

OVERVIEW:

We are looking for an experienced marketer with the ability to uncover strong consumer insights to target strategic customer segments and improve the onsite customer experience of the Tools store.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Highly organized and focused on deliverables
  • Analytical, enthusiastic, customer-focused, and creative.
  • Work at both a strategic level (generating new ideas to improve traffic growth and the customer experience) and at the tactical level (executing campaigns with site merchandising tools, analyzing traffic data, and solving problems)
  • Design and execute traffic channel strategies and programs to acquire new customers
  • Plan, develop, and execute category and vendor merchandising programs that deliver strong ROI
  • Create engaging programs, content and strategies to drive loyalty, repeat purchases, and cross shopping
  • Analyze results of merchandising, traffic, and customer experience efforts
  • Create and manage multiple storefronts

MUST HAVE:

  • 3+ years of experience in online marketing and/or merchandising, preferably in retail or e-commerce
  • Experience with content management in CRM/CMS tools, and/or the ability to learn new tools very quickly
  • Strong analytical and data-mining aptitude, coupled with strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills
  • Bachelor’s degree required

NICE TO HAVE:

  • Familiarity with markup languages like HTML/XML
  • Basic SQL and Visual Basic familiarity
  • Copywriting experience
  • Project and/or product management experience
