Job Description:

Our client, a top financial fortune 500 company, is looking for an Events Coordinator/Registration Manager to join their growing team in San Francisco. This person will be responsible for overseeing the Private Bank participation in our client’s Annual Healthcare Conference held in San Francisco in January 2018. The job demands interaction with colleagues on the U.S. regional events teams, marketing, U.S. market managers, bankers and product partners, as well as other LOB colleagues. The role will require the registration manager to manage a large amount of raw data that is constantly changing and will be responsible for keeping the data clean, accurate and up to date, as well as producing weekly reports. 

The role reports to the Head of Western Region Events, Executive Director (who is based in San Francisco) and is a temporary, full time position from August 14, 2017 to February 16, 2018. 

Responsibilities include: 
• Project and list management for Annual Healthcare Conference including extensive data management, project management, and communication of data to multiple teams 
• Responsible for reviewing all Private Bank nominations to ensure they meet event criteria 
• Responsible for imputing all Private Bank data into internal registration database 
• Create RSVP updates and registration reports weekly 
• Collect, seek approval and communicate updates weekly to Private Bank events team 
• Continuous cross-referencing of data, fixing errors, cleaning database 
• Work with marketing team to create pertinent marketing materials and invitations to the Conference 
• Participate in weekly regional team and U.S. regional events team meetings and function as an integral part of the events team 
• Administrative responsibilities (invoice processing; invitation creation; pre-event tasks; maintaining and updating the registration event best practices documents) 
• Onsite registration support for Private Bank clients at the 2018 J.P. Morgan 36th Annual Healthcare Conference; as well as Private Bank events that occur during the week 

Skills required: 
• Extraordinarily proficient in Microsoft Excel 
• Must be very detail oriented 
• Ability to master various database products & new internal registration database with minimal supervision 
• Must think strategically and critically; ability to identify issues, troubleshoot and find a reasonable solution 
• Must be able to manage large amounts of raw data and work under tight deadlines 
• Ability to analyze data: see trends, find mistakes, consolidate data, create reports 
• Must be able to handle all types of personalities 
• Excellent oral and written communications skills 
• Financial services experience is a plus
