The ideal candidate is an experienced, creative and innovative B2B marketer who will help to create and run a best in class demand generation capability. The successful candidate will be a hands-on leader with proven expertise in agile, iterative, outcome-driven marketing primarily using digital, event, and social channels. This position is responsible for leading, establishing, and implementing strategic and tactical programs designed to capitalize on market opportunities and generate demand to help achieve sales targets for enterprise data and measurement solutions. This includes the development and execution of creative, integrated, multi-channel marketing programs that elevate the brand, provide a steady flow of marketing qualified leads, and measures the return on marketing investments.
-Develop strategic, multi-product demand generation plans and budget designed to achieve business goals including quarterly lead and opportunity targets
-Build scalable B2B marketing programs for new business acquisition and customer demand generation, supporting plans, promoting product launches, increasing pipeline acceleration, and targeting specific geographies and accounts
-Be proficient in initiating, planning, executing and optimizing marketing programs and tactics across acquisition, conversion and retention efforts, including, but not limited to, direct mail, outbound, search engine marketing, advertising, events, content, email, and social media
-Partner with Sales to analyze the pipeline and coordinate marketing approaches to accelerate revenue growth
-Co-define program strategies with product marketing; Submit creative briefs with thorough direction for creative team and agencies including campaign objectives, strategies, key messaging, and other requirements
-Direct creative efforts in the development of offer and creative strategies ensuring that test and learn methodologies are employed where appropriate
-Manage budget and expenses for demand generation marketing programs; Coordinate with vendors, agencies, and purchasing to ensure cost efficiencies, dependability, security of information and scheduling flexibility
-Ensure that all marketing programs present a consistent brand image
-Be accountable for measuring and reporting on campaign results
-7+ years of experience in a marketing role is required
-Minimum of four years experience in a B2B marketing role in the software/technology industry including a proven success in the development and execution of multi-channel marketing campaigns.
-Experience working in an interactive marketing environment, comfortable working with agencies, designers, writers, developers, UX and strategists
-Experience successfully working cross-functionally including (but not limited to) Sales, Product Marketing, Product Management, and Finance
-Exceptional planning, coordination, project management, and communication (verbal and written) skills are necessary
-Strong financial skills and related processes (Purchase Orders, Vendor Management, Budgeting, andReconciliation)
-Understanding or previous experience with Salesforce and marketing automation tools such as Eloqua, Marketo or Pardot
-Must be ROI driven and be able to create and manage KPIs that tell us how we are doing
-Demonstrated strong performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence.
