Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Work in consumer electronics system testing and user experience testing, with a focus on test case creation, test prioritization, bug resolution, and reporting
  • Take ownership of assigned hardware programs and be responsible for user research deliverables and schedules while working together with internal and external development teams, lab technicians, local and remote test houses
  • Work closely with operations and PM teams to manage team program schedule
  • Have a passion for gaming and game systems that extends to an architectural understanding of the products
  • Perform test analysis within JMP and large datasets in Excel with a demonstrated strength in user test design

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of Usability Research experience and 1+ year with Hardware
  • Be comfortable in design research, hardware test design, project management in a hardware engineering development and test setting
  • Experience with acceptance testing, statistical data analysis, and debugging
  • Experience with usability testing, customer interviews, and survey design
  • Must be able to work independently, prioritize between multiple projects, and be flexible to rapidly changing schedules and demands
  • Must have excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, applied research, user research, human factors, or relevant industry experience

 

Preferred Experience

  • Experience with JMP, Microsoft Office, Team Foundation Server, Sharepoint, and Morae
  • A successful candidate will understand and have a passion for the gaming industry, culture, and, specifically, gaming hardware
