Job Description:

The EA provides a critical support role to keep the operations of the company running. Since launch we have been approached by over 1500 companies seeking investment; and take at least 5 pitches per partner a week. In addition, we have 40 companies in the Fund I portfolio. In order to maintain an orderly pitch and investment process, to ensure we do not miss hot deals to competitive investors, to ensure we stay on top of our existing investments, as well as stay in touch with the market (other VCs, founders, events etc) it's critical we have an assistant who can help manage our schedule. As we build the company brand as a pre-eminent venture capital fund and the go-to brand for female founders, we need a coordinated face to present to the market and keep our daily operations (schedule, expenses, room bookings, travel, signing of agreements) running smoothly. 

Our ideal candidate: 
Is organized, process-driven and intuitive 
Is able to juggle multiple responsibilities and drive projects from conception to goal 
Is interested in technology and startups (because passion + context = awesome) 
Has strong writing skills and knowledge of social media tools 
Is self-motivated with dedicated work ethic and entrepreneurial attitude.

Managing the day-to-day operations of the office including, but not limited to: managing agendas, scheduling for priorities and acting as a gatekeeper against waste of time; answering and prioritizing calls and email communications; booking conference rooms; booking professional and personal travel; making sure all expenses are properly recorded 
Collecting and driving a list of key decisions we need to make each day, such as: things we need to sign, documents to review, important emails, invitations, deadlines, reminders, etc. along with an understanding of our processes 
Making sure we eat lunch (it sounds silly, but it’s key to staying productive) 
Coordinating breakfasts/drinks with key partners, and other stakeholders 
Scheduling regular check-ins with our portfolio companies 
Creating/improving both professional and personal time management systems 
Taking on the fun task of reorganizing our document management system, and keeping it up to date 
Keeping our website up to date (so it doesn’t hurt if you can bust a move with Photoshop or WordPress) 
Coordinating events in the office that we are hosting, whether for our portfolio companies, female founders or the broader startup ecosystem 

Have had at least 2-3 years experience in a fast-paced office environment as an assistant or operations associate 
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office & Google Docs 
Nice to have: Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and WordPress
