Job Description:

The Digital Project Manager will be responsible for planning and managing the day-to-day workflow and processes that support our Digital Customer Experience (dce) team and growing digital design project work.

This starts as a 5-month contract role (W2 with benefits) and would be open to extend and/or converting to a perm role. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mange of a digital project portfolio focusing on special project(s); includes project intake, assessment, resourcing, execution and tracking
  • Collaborate closely with the Digital Design, Product, LoB, IT and Demand Management teams to understand the business demand and guide project execution
  • Partner with Digital and Partner teams to help drive concept readiness and artifact quality
  • Consult with creative teams to develop a clear plan and next steps for design activities
  • Serve as a single point of contact for project status & issue management
  • Ensuring all deliverables (oftentimes complex / interdisciplinary / interlinked) are clearly specified, scoped and agreed between client and internal team(s)
  • Manage small, medium and large projects for successful delivery
  • Ensure the PM team understands the project requirements and rationale
  • Consistently adhere to company standards and best practices
  • Participate in / champion ongoing PM and design team process improvements

Required Experience / Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of project/ program management experience working with digital design teams; experience at both a design studio and a large corporate environment preferred
  • Thorough understanding of Waterfall and Agile project methodologies
  • Demonstrated effectiveness developing plans, prioritizing activities and driving execution
  • Experience thriving in a fast-paced, collaborative, cross-disciplinary and geographically dispersed environment
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to effectively present complex information clearly and appropriately handle sensitive information
  • Strong organizational skills with experience coordinating multiple work streams simultaneously
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally and influence outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing business priorities
  • Strategic and analytical thinker; strong work ethic
