Job Description:

Our client is looking for a Manager/Senior Social Media Operations to manage their Social Media Center of Excellence and co-lead their Employee Amplification program. 

Proven expertise at developing cross platform social strategies for large organizations preferred. The Manager/Senior Manager Social Media Center of Excellence reports to the Global Director Social Media and assists with training, best practices, and guidance across the organization for our Social Media Center of Excellence, as well as cross-divisional content promotion for the Employee Amplification program. 

The ideal candidate has a strong mix of strategic social knowledge, creative and analytical prowess, as well as collaborative leadership skills. He/She will have a deep understanding of global social media platforms, measurement, and how to integrate with public relations and marketing teams. Understanding the sales and marketing funnel and how social media can expand the reach of content, attract visitors to owned web properties, and generate leads is also preferred. 

Proficient in content marketing, experience sourcing and managing content for a global brand, and international experience preferred. 

Roles & Responsibilities: 
Collaborate with product marketing, PR, content teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure social media efforts are consistent, exciting, and optimized cross the org. 

Analyze data and know how to use it to make informed decisions. Constantly test new strategies, new content, and new campaigns to constantly iterate and improve content marketing efforts. 

Provide guidance with Go to Market plans and campaigns by also creating and managing content for specific initiatives/social networks. This may include creative ideation and oversight with copy and visual assets, positioning content for Twitter, sourcing images and graphics to accompany Facebook posts, taking and curating photos and videos for visual platforms like Instagram, and developing post copy. 

Responsible also include, Employee Advocacy/Training, and process improvements. 


Must work on site!
At least 5-8 years working in social or digital media. 
Excellent writing skills and attention to detail. 
Experience leading content development and managing external campaigns. Deep understanding of Social Media tools and defining metrics for success. Possesses knowledge and experience in the tenets of traditional marketing. 
Exhibits the ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side, able to demonstrate why their ideas are analytically sound. 
Displays in-depth knowledge and understanding of Social Media platforms, their respective participants (Facebook, Twitter, Google+ Local, YouTube, Instagram, Pinterest etc.) and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios.
