Senior Communications Specialist 
A large utilities client in New York is looking for a Senior Communications Specialist to join their dynamic Business Ethics & Compliance team who will bring creativity, communications experience, technology savvy, and project management skills in support of our key corporate initiatives. 

The Senior Communications Specialist: 

• Develops innovative, clear, and consistent communications comprised of posters, visual aids, newsletters, electronic communications, memoranda, reports, and messages from senior leaders 
• Coordinates with other departments that provide input on communications 
• Leads projects from inception through distribution/implementation 
• Possesses highly developed writing and editing skills and a track record of creativity and innovative thinking 
• Measures effectiveness of the messaging 
• Creates and updates web content in SharePoint 
• Is comfortable working with and presenting to union and management personnel at all levels 
• Possesses excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills and can develop relationships and effectively interact with employees at all levels in the company 

The Senior Communications Specialist brings the following talent and experience to the role: 

• 5+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related area 
• A Bachelor’s degree 
• Adept with technology and highly proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook 
• Excellent oral and written communication skills and experience developing communication campaigns 
• Prior project management experience supporting multiple projects simultaneously 
• Previous Ethics and Compliance experience a plus 
• Prior SharePoint site development and creative design a plus 

Must possess a valid driver’s license and be capable of traveling throughout the service territory regularly. Some occasional travel out of the service territory may be necessary.
