Job Description:

Aquent’s D.C. area client is looking for a long-term contract Web Content Editor/QA Specialist with flexible hours. The Web Content Editor/QA Specialist is responsible for providing overall support for the web team. • Creating, testing and maintaining CMS based web pages including copy and photo content pages. Most important aspects are: • Strong copy editing • Strong visual eye – to check for spacing on page • Digital production editing – familiar with web production/copy vs print. Position entails both cms as well as live QA. Most of the work happens inside the cms (unpublished content) but he will also be asked to do a last step revision live to make sure all elements placed internally are displaying live the way they should Qualities needed to be successful in this position: 1. Attention to detail - 2. Web QA Expertise and Experience - 3. Copy Editing Skills - 4. Ability to work on team environment and juggle several deadlines - 5. Excellent Use of Grammar and Style - 6. Explain your implementation of SEO strategies and your understanding of what that entails? 7. Ability to create and present analysis to larger groups of people - • Speed – there will be heavy volume

 Hours: 11:00am - 8:30pm
