Job Description:

A global beauty company is looking for a creative, smart and driven Social Media Coordinator (in a full-time schedule/Mon-Fri/40 hours week as a W2 Hourly Employee).

The Social Media Coordinator will work with the Digital Marketing and Social Media Manager on market research, competitive analysis, social media strategy and execution for a new natural beauty/hair brand that the company will be launching. The team will have a start-up environment and this person will be involved in developing the social media voice and targets for this new brand. Responsibilities: - Social Media research - understanding competitive set and which bloggers/influencers to target/partner with - Building up social media networks - provide recommendation on the brand should target, tag and engage with - Creating social media handles - Working with Digital Marketing team on social media strategies

COMMUNITY STRATEGY 10% • Communicate and coordinate with cross-functional teams ensuring that community customer service/social listening strategy supports overall brand goals and objectives. MANAGEMENT & MODERATION 65% • Review user generated comments and posts in a quick and timely manner utilizing social media management tools (SMM) like Social Studio • Escalate User Generated Content, where appropriate, to internal stakeholders. • Monitor comments and complaints in a quick and timely manner with the ability to identify trends, influencers as well as spot warning signs / potential crises • Respond to questions (page posts) across Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, and YT in order to foster a positive community and add value to the user’s experience REPORTING 25% • Utilize social analytics tools to generate insights • Summarize insights and conversations to create actionable next steps DESIRED SKILLS • Bachelor’s Degree Required • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite • 1-2 years of experience managing social communities • Solid understanding of social media analytics • Proficiency in social listening tools like Radian6, Social Studio, and NetBase • An analytical eye to extract trends from large data sets and a creative mind to translate trends into insights • Enthusiastic attitude and flexibility to adapt to a rapidly changing marketplace
