Job Description:

We are looking for a talented Motion Designer with motion concepting expertise, knowledge of interactive principles, web and/or app space, functional design exploration skills, and excellent collaboration and communication skills. You’ll help design and ship experiences that impact how millions of people use our products and services every day.

You will work closely with a team of UI/UX designers, user researchers, design managers, and software engineers in a highly collaborative environment.

-Strike a balance between interfaces are that pleasing to the eye as well as efficient and purpose-built
-Integrate and provide feedback to other design disciplines on the team
-Create motion designs and studies that bring user stories to life for a wide audience
-Define, develop and document consistent motion design language and it’s uses across products
-Identify, articulate and iterate on new design patterns suitable across multiple products and workflows
-Document design decisions for consumption by the broader design studio team, as well as key partner teams
-Work closely and interactively with designers, project managers and developers to ensure design accuracy and consistency
-Highlight unaddressed issues within his or her team and resolves, escalates, or finds the appropriate owner to ensure the highest level of quality.

-Passion for invention, human computer interaction, and seamless user experiences
-The ability to wear many hats and contribute across disciplines
-Experience working on a multi-disciplinary team
-Self-motivated and comfortable with the ambiguities inherent in incubation work
-2+ years as a professional Motion Designer or equivalent experience
-1+ years knowledge of user-centered design approaches and interaction design best practices
-The ability to reduce complex concepts to understandable, actionable tasks
-A strong interest in design and technology and trends, with an eye toward the future

Additional Qualifications:
Principle – animated design and prototyping
-Coding and or markup language experience to help prototype and validate experiences
-Experience producing motion studies and interface models
