Job Description:

Aquent's client is looking for a Digital/Email Designer to work on-location downtown Pittsburgh. This contract opportunity, which needs to be in office (sorry no remote). At this stage the client is open to viewing resumes/portfolios. This is a contract role which would be 35-40 hours a week, and could last for a couple months or longer. Looking for portfolios with a fresh, creative and savvy aesthetic. Clean, clever, sophisticated and trendy work. Former agency or in-house experience would be great (if you have worked with larger brands, worked with brand standards but still created exciting work) This role will help with a large volume of daily emails, banner design, web page design and anything else digital design related. Ideal candidate has a strong ability for a conceptual point of view, and ability to work with a copywriter and other team members to come up with compelling brand driven visuals and graphics! Looking for a fresh point of view, a "can-do" attitude and fabulous team player mentality, as well as ability to crank out lots of work independently. Must be a whiz in Adobe Creative Suite, and also be familair with ​HTML, CSS, Dreamweaver, browser compatibility. If you are light on the Digital side, that's ok, we are looking for a strong design aesthetic and conceptual skills. Ideal candidate will have around 1-5+ yrs as digital designer with proven track record in concept development/layout and brand development.

Requirements:

• ONLINE PORTFOLIO showing excellent Graphic Designer / DIGITAL GRAPHIC DESIGN
• agency or in-house experience, understanding of branding design
• around 1-5+ yrs designer experience
• Adobe Creative Suite / Dreamweaver, HTML, CSS, (Javascript a plus but not required)
• Cross-browser compatibility issues solutions
• Email design experience helpful
• Bachelor's Degree - BA or BS in Art/Design, Business, Communications, or Marketing, etc preferred
