AQUENT is seeking a Hybrid Designer/Developer for one of our COOLEST Clients in Seattle!!

Are you someone who has experience in design & technology that loves crafting highly usable and intuitive interfaces and web applications from discovery to deployment? Are you as passionate for your users as you are for each line of code you write? Do you want to improve the user experience of our customers? Do you love digging into complex challenges that span both technology and user interaction? Do you have a masterful eye for visual and interaction design?

Our Brand Marketing team is seeking an expert in “design & development” to create, support, prototype, produce, lead and innovate our online investing experience for web and mobile. This seasoned digital problem solver would be working in a highly collaborative environment alongside teams that represent varied internal disciplines such as marketing, strategy, advertising, analytics, product development, brand copywriting, art direction and design.

·Has demonstrable experience as a web designer and developer, or similar role
·Has experience planning/prototyping/building scalable, rich, usable web interactions
·Has a strong background in UX/UI, wire framing and interaction models, as well as multimedia production such as video and animation
·Has experience and passion for modern web development technologies, methodologies, and techniques: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, in-depth experience with CSS preprocessors (we use SCSS), experience customizing a CSS framework, solid experience with source control (we use Github Enterprise and AccuRev)
·Has experience with responsive design
·Has advanced/expert knowledge of Adobe creative web production software and MS Office
·Offers strong analysis and excellent problem solving skills to solve work around solutions in a highly restrictive development environment
·Loves constantly learning, improving, and tirelessly trying out the latest technologies,
frame-works, trends and tools
·Has the ability to share/present and work productively and efficiently with designers and business stakeholders
·Love code, but obsess over users
·Have experience working with Agile or SCRUM development
·Know NPM for dependency management
·Be familiar with Gulp for front-end build process
·Have experience working with a CMS (e.g. WordPress, Drupal)

- Must have an online portfolio
- Must have live examples of code or a link
- Design or development backgrounds have been successful in the past
- Strong communication skills are a must
- Heavy concentration on scripting
