We are seeking a talented consultant to join this dynamic Content team, at our Fortune 500 client. The Copywriter will be responsible for writing clear, concise and understandable web and mobile content for various customer portals. In this role, you will need to take complex healthcare ideas/terminology/processes and simplify them in various formats for the end-user.
In this role, the copywriter would be tasked with developing and maintaining relationships with business partners and fulfilling their copy requests. Content to be written varies from smaller requests, such as alerts and informational messaging, to larger project requests that span several areas of the site.
Write/edit copy for client promotions and light boxes.
Lead weekly status meeting with the Content Management team and Promotions Manager.
Run copy through legal review and Spanish translation, including managing related translation tasks for both web and mobile
properties. Bilingual Spanish skills would be a huge plus for writers considering this role.
This role will require writers to be able to manage a busy project load and ensure all copy decks are properly documented with changes, project numbers and approvals
Create new copy decks as needed.
Update and rewrite the demo scripts for use within the mobile applications.
Monitor user comments (customer feedback) and make content recommendations, as needed to address concerns.
Ensure editorial integrity of the site – keep an eye for inconsistencies, typos, etc.

5+ years experience writing web/mobile content for specific audiences, including customers and clients.
Portfolio samples that demonstrate experience will be required for consideration. Strong preference will be given to Fortune 500 customer portals and examples where complex information is translated into clear language for customers, with content such as financial, insurance or healthcare content.
Expert writing, editing and proofreading skills. Needs to have extreme attention to detail while keeping the big picture in mind.
Solid understanding of UX and how to write using wireframes as a guide.
Experience working with copy decks, approvals/sign offs and communicating with specific departments to get copy live on the site.
Solid understanding of the digital development lifecycle.
Quick idea generation, ability to deliver results within tight deadlines.
Must communicate effectively with various departments, especially UX design/marketing/development/QA.
Ability to respond, on-the-fly, to changing copy needs.
Experience writing for the health care industry a plus.
Bilingual Spanish writing skills are a plus.
Bachelor's degree in English, marketing or relevant field.
Successful background check and drug test are required prior to start.
